POS Product Settings
You can get to this part of the system by clicking on the gear-shaped button on the right side of our blue Admin Toolbar, click Settings, then click POS Settings > Products.
Item Condition - Once you toggle this setting to ON, you will be offered a list of different Item Conditions. Check the boxes next to each you might want to use for your serialized inventory. Please note that activating this feature will change the way the pricing for your serialized products is handled and will give you individual fields for each condition level, as pictured below. This feature also works with the Website Pricing described below.
Website Pricing - If you would like to have prices for your products that are different on your website from the way you charge for them in the point of sale, you can check the box to Show Web Price Input Field in Product Module. If you don't think you will need it, we recommend NOT checking the box at all, as it will add unnecessary clutter to your product listings.
Enable Bin Location - If you wish for each of your products to be able to be assigned a Bin Location, you can enable that here by checking the box. In the image above, Bin Location is about half way down the list on the left. To learn more about how to configure your Bin Locations, please click here.
Validate Unique Serial Numbers System-Wide - If you check this box to turn this function on, any time you enter a new serial number into the system, if there is an identical one already saved, a warning will pop up before the serial number saves. You have the option of saving the duplicate anyway at that point.
Loaner - If you use the Loaner module, you can set it to require Notes to be entered in order to save the Loaner entry. This is a great way to keep track of important details related to the loaner, e.g. serial numbers, specific models, accessories included, etc.
