    Howdy,

    The services are difficult to search for in the POS.  We often ring customers out directly for services without creating a work order. In this case the cashier has to know the exact title of the service, or the search comes up empty.  We have a lot of service items, and many have similar names or are similar to retail products.

    It would be extremely helpful to have a SKU attached to each service. and to be able to print the list of services and their SKU's or a barcode that cashiers could scan to enter the service.

    I made this as a suggestion in the RAIN feature suggestions, but its not getting any attention...boohoo for me.

    It would be incredibly helpful if we could also add parts to the services. 95% of our services also include parts and materials, but they currently have to be added separately which means they are often forgotten causing estimates to appear higher at the time of check out, or the employee never adds them at all which is even worse! I also agree that repairs & services should have an option to add a sku to speed up the process. A master ticket feature would be really useful for clients who bring in several items at once. Currently we have to process each service and repair separately when we should have the option to charge / ring out multiple tickets at once.

    Those are both fantastic ideas! The best way to get your ideas to our developers is through our enhancement request system. If you click on the Help button (?) on the far right of the blue Admin Toolbar in the drop-menu you'll see Suggest a Feature and you can send it from there.
