Layaway Reserved Inventory
We have added a setting to the Layaway feature that will allow you to reserve inventory for in-progress layaways. Currently, if you create a layaway, the inventory does not reduce until the customer pays off and picks up their product. Here are some key points about this feature:

We have added a setting to the Layaway feature that will allow you to reserve inventory for in-progress layaways. Currently, if you create a layaway, the inventory does not reduce until the customer pays off and picks up their product. Here are some key points about this feature:
- If you enable this setting, the item is put into a Reserved status during the length of the layaway, and then the inventory is removed when the item is picked up.
- We recognize that many stores prefer not to reduce the inventory of the item until the customer has finished paying off the item, but we know that many stores have sold an item they promised on layaway to someone else which can cause frustration. With this setting you can decide what works best for your store.
- This setting can be found by going to Settings > POS Settings > Layaway > Reserve Inventory.
- This also fully works with Serialized inventory, and will allow you to choose a Serial Number at the time of layaway creation, or enter it later if you don’t know the serial number when you are creating the contract.

Bulk Edit Web Orders
We have added the ability to mark web orders as Shipped in bulk. Note: This only applies to orders that are in progress that have the checkbox active on the far left side of the Orders interface.

Custom Vendor ID
We have added a way for you to have your own custom Vendor IDs. This can be helpful if you are coming from a different system and are used to seeing a short ID that has meaning to you rather than a random number ID generated by our system. You can set your own IDs from Inventory > Vendors by clicking on a Vendor name, and that ID will display on the vendor list page, as pictured below. For vendors you do not set this way, the internal database ID will continue display on the list as it did before.

Text Message Notification Update
We have enhanced the new store web order text notification to handle different phone number formats. For example, the U.S. country code, +1, or the Area Code prefix 1, or nothing at the beginning of the phone number will all still send the text correctly.

Trade-Ins
We have added a list of recently purchased serialized items to the Trade-In panel in the Register. This will make it super fast for you to take in items you have already added to your inventory as trade-ins.
Phone Number Required for PayPal Web Orders
Previously, if someone chose to checkout through PayPal, then the only way to require a phone number would be to require it in PayPal. We have made it so that the phone number will always be required before moving to PayPal to pay.

There was an issue where integrated orders would not appear for new Moda customers (i.e. when you place your first order with Moda). This should now be fixed.

We have fixed an issue where if you filtered this spreadsheet it would include all Deactivated items, only respecting the filter for Active products.
Customer Balance
Fixed an issue where if you attempted to edit a customer balance by adding a negative amount, it would add the amount as positive.

On the Orders list page, we were showing the Picked Up status as red text. This was confusing because many thought it was an order that needed attention, so we changed it to the default black text color so there isn’t attention drawn to it.
